In September, 2009 we traveled to Germany to catch the WSBK at the Nurburgring. The weekend was pretty damn cold up at the track, with some light rain. Being Sept. I thought it would be warmer and was in shorts . One of the pit lane track officials looks over at me and starts laughing. I think I was one of two people at the track that entire weekend in shorts. Had a pretty good time, but found the track not so pedestrian friendly. Pretty difficult to get around and see most of it. Still from the vantage points we made it too, viewing was pretty good, but needed much larger lenses for any type of action pics (or a press badge, that would have worked too).
