Happy Moon Festival everyone. Or Mid Autumn Festival, whichever you prefer. Rare day off in the middle of the week, so I’m going to celebrate by seeking out and chewing down on some moon cakes. Four days remaining on this trip (one day short of three weeks). Whew!

Shanghai, Sept 2013
So my return has been delayed until Sunday. One day short of three weeks. Tomorrow is a holiday, so that will be nice.
LB is in MN visiting her old homesteads and vacation haunts, so we should have some good pics to post of that soon.

Another long trip this time. 18-20 days (return is still undetermined). Had an awesome thunderstorm yesterday. For my Midwestern friends, it would have been Ho-humm, but being from California, it was entertaining.

So, here in Shanghai, and it’s a good 10 degrees cooler than it was two weeks ago. Rain in the forecast cooling it off even further. Only brought shorts, so the temp better not fall too much 🙂

Off to Shanghai. Another 16 day stint. Should be the last trip to China of the year though.
Travel
So 45 of the last 60 days spent in Shanghai. Get 9 days at home between trips this time. Leaving again next Tuesday for 16 days. Haven’t even got over the jet lag yet.
On another note thinking of heading to Portugal for some R&R
